OSLO, NORWAY
The train pulled into the station and I did what I always do as soon as I arrive into a new country… find my hostel. I was staying in a hostel named “Anker Apartment” and upon entering, a waft of sweet deliciousness filled the air, as there was a bakery nearby. I arrived into my 24 shared hostel dorm room and picked a bottom bunk, right next to an open window. I often opt for sleeping nearby windows so on the off chance that it rains, I can hear it tap against the glass.
I put away my things, freshened up from my flight, and set off to wander around my hostel, in hopes that I was able to find something light for dinner. I noticed that it was the perfect time to visit - just warm enough to have layers and my favorite leather jacket on, but also in time for the leaves to fall.
